Rolled oats are processed from bright coloured, well filled, plump English oats. They are double re-cleaned and clipped to ensure they contain minimal dust and admixture. High quality Cooked Rolled Oats. Micronized and slightly rolled still retaining the husk. Suitable for all species.
Particularly of benefit to silver fish diets compared to pellets due to the higher fibre content. As they are high in fibre they are particularly suited to all fish diets and that they are micronized make them less "fizzy" than unprocessed oats. Crushing the oats enhances the digestibility; as they are fibrous, they are an ideal cereal for feeding through the colder temperatures and have traditionally provided the base for many old school fish farm feed programmes in winter.
